As Life has no Undo is the debut novel of Abir Mukherjee Undo is such a key that can give us the option to take a step back but life can never give the chance to take a step back How often we think that if we can go back and re write that scene in our life but unfortunately life has no UndoThe name is so practical and interesting that it is bound to grab the reader s interest Every person dreamt of having an Undo button in their life so what made this author write a whole book on this topic will be the reader s center of attraction The book has everything in its jacket that had played an important role in the storyThe story starts with Ankit the main protagonist narrating his story to a senior of his in a hospital lounge Ankit was a normal Bengali boy who unwantedly falls for a girl for whom he had a bet with his friends Everything was going perfect and they got admission in an average engineering college together Like all clich d love stories Ankit also compromises his chance of getting admission into a reputed government engineering college to study with the love of his life Ankit s life turned upside down in the last year of the engineering when Debdeep aka Deba entered into their life The readers should read this story to know what made Ankit take the ultimate decision of leaving the earth Is it because of his love Shreeja or his best friend Deba or the expectation of his family or something elseI found the story line very common and already told The presentation style was good but the narrating style is so simple that it couldn t help the book to stand high in the crowd of romantic novels I would like to appreciate Abir Mukherjee for jotting down the truth which is very much visible from the story but the lack of description were making the scene hazy and tough to visualize The author has concentrated a lot on describing his male and female protagonists and by doing that unintentionally he kept all his other characters in the darkThe author has described the mental state of Ankit in the end uite efficiently and that can make the readers complete the book in a good note The author could easily replace a few unnecessary details with few described scenes and that will make the book all interestingFinal Words A love story that unfolded on the streets of Burduwan has a flavor of its own and can give the readers an overview on how love stories blossoms in Bengal Overall an average read For reviews click on wwwtimidfingersblogspotin

As Life Has No Undo Download ↠ 0 Free download Ï PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook ↠ Abir Mukherjee review As Life Has No Undo Oy and mediocre student from a lower middle class Bengali family has only two aims in his life to become a computer engineer per his parents wish and to spend his entire life with Shreeja the lady love of his life Shreeja is pretty. Note This review was originally posted Readers MuseThe story line begins with a suicide episode of the protagonist s roommate Our protagonist goes back to reminiscence his own life A life with no undo button Ankit is this simple and sweet next door Bengali guy to whom all normal humane stuff like falling in love heartbreak disappointment happens It is very apparent that the writer is a True Bengali who has passionately described the Bengali Culture I really loved the whole Bengali part of the storyEssentially Ankit s story could be that of any average Indian male s story A guy falls in love the girl breaks his heart by dumping him for his friend and the guy goes on to become a savaging drug addict and cussing the girl only to bounce back as a better person laterFor anyone who simply knows my reading taste and my reviewing style they d simply expect me to rant and ravage the book But hey I am not that predictable Plus the writer is a rookie For a rookie he sure has done a great job Good job mateThe book truly delivered what the summary promised the need for an undo button in your life What if the protagonist Ankit hadn t fallen in love in the first place only Could that be undone And that is exactly what the book delivered Things can t just be undone So there The book wins a big brownie point for just thatThe narration was perfect Though the story was predictable the writer managed to keep me hooked thanks to simple writingNevertheless I also have a fair share of complaints Shreeja s characterisation was pathetic A girl simply won t love a guy for money and sex If she did she will obviously have a good reason for it At the risk of sounding feminist the writer hit a wrong nerve by portraying Shreeja as an out and out deceiver Slut would be the term a man would probably use but I prefer being well mannered Also if a girl dumps you chasing her to make her realise your love seems such a perverted idea Sometimes letting go is a better form of loveLast but not the least the cover deserves a special mention Its pretty Reminds me of my college notebook s last page filled with unforgettable scribbles To sum it up the book did have its moments and of course an eual share of lows VERDICT I wouldn t go GA GA over it Just another read But hey why not Go pick it upRATING 3 on 5

Abir Mukherjee ↠ 0 Summary

As Life Has No Undo Download ↠ 0 Free download Ï PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook ↠ Abir Mukherjee review As Life Has No Undo Ambitious and career oriented What happens when Debdeep walks into their livesDoes Ankit have things to lose than he ever imagined Have you ever loved someone than yourself Have you ever felt the need of a undo button in your life. What if we could erase some terrible memories and incidents of life What if our life had an option of CtrlZ What if we could go back in our past and undo certain things to have a pleasant future Well all these things are matter of imagination and do not exist for living beings Yet when things go wrong in life we often think of what if we had such an option But for humans past is past and present is present Happenstances of life can never be rectified or modified All that we can do is label them as bad memories and forget them After all life has no Undo Here I am done reading a novel with an interesting and agreeable title As Life has no undo by Abir Mukherjee The book begins with the protagonist s roomie committing suicide for a reason It is at this point that the protagonist narrates his own story in front of his roomie A bet is placed between Ankit the protagonist and his friend Sagar related to this charming girl Shreeja While preventing to lose the bet Ankit gets in touch with her After conversing a bit they both befriend and Ankit soon discovers feelings for ShreejaThey start spending time together On a one hand their relation prospers but on another hand they don t devout time for their studies as a result of which their marks deteriorate This story is much like an ordinary love story The concept too is uite similar yet the book entertains a reader though not up to that great extent Over all As I unwrapped the book from the courier package my first glance obviously fell on its simple cover page A white background horizontal lines and some drawings on it makes the cover look like some notebook page Well emphasis should have been laid on the cover The title of the story is really really interesting Narration of the story is perfectly fine and the storylines are comprehensible Yet the story fails to deliver something new something different to the readers The author had a wide scope to make the story stimulating at certain places where it tends to become dull Also in the later part the story begins to feel slightly exaggerated Still the story successfully provokes a thought among readers which is really good Considering everything I would rate the book with 35 Congratulations to Abir for his debut novel and hope he comes up with many stories
