This series just keeps getting better and better I was wildly curious about Simon Malik survivor of St Joke s along with his roommate Tommy who had his story told in Where I Belong and Lost Without You and Molly O Keefe knocks this one out of the park Simon the survivor of a broken childhood and revenge seeker is such a vulnerable man Oh my goodness I felt for him and the loneliness he has been living on for all of these years Trying to avenge his mother s death never wanting to let go of the pain Then with Bates and his reappearance to collect on the infamous Debt so clearly described in this and earlier books perhaps it will finally be time to lay his demons to bed Not counting on seeing a certain woman who he never could uite forget from his time right before his stint at St Joke s Simon s world gets turned on it s sideI love how the author so seamlessly continues the tradition of the Debt with the chance for Simon to finally purge himself of the gloom that mars his soul With Penny as the only light he has ever seen since his parents s deaths coming back into his life when he least expected it is almost than any of us can bare It s like watching Simon on a tightrope trying to balance the secrets he holds wrt Penny s former life with the burgeoning affection he feels for her His feeling of betrayal goes deep when everything is blown wide open and it seems only Penny holds the key to a new start without any guiltBoth Simon and Penny are great characters full of depth and emotion I was so caught up in their story I truly could not put this one down There are great little twists that make this book so engaging With all the mystery surrounding both Simon and Penny I was sure they would need another book to figure everything out But I am happy to say that Molly O Keefe did a tremendous job with tying up most of the loose ends in one volume We do get glimpses of other St Joke s victims and I look forward to their stories next There is a small trail of crumbs at the end that will lead us to future books and I can t want to get my hands on themWhen you are looking for the extraordinary to take you away from the mundane being written almost daily pick up this book Actually pick up any in the author s collection Molly O Keefe gives her all each and every time and so much than just your typical romance With Ruin You you are taken on a touching and hopeful journey that deserves a huge 5 stars Nothing less would suffice Advanced ECG 2nd ED park Simon the survivor of a broken childhood and revenge seeker is such a vulnerable man Oh my goodness I felt for him and the loneliness he has been living on for all of these years Trying to avenge his mother s death never wanting to let go of the Get Your Lump on with Lumpy Space Princess perhaps it will finally be time to lay his demons to bed Not counting on seeing a certain woman who he never could uite forget from his time right before his stint at St Joke s Simon s world gets turned on it s sideI love how the author so seamlessly continues the tradition of the Debt with the chance for Simon to finally The Cordax Mondotta The Adventures of Avery Avedaan #1 purge himself of the gloom that mars his soul With Penny as the only light he has ever seen since his Domingo Franco Patriot and Martyr of the Philippine Revolution parents s deaths coming back into his life when he least expected it is almost than any of us can bare It s like watching Simon on a tightrope trying to balance the secrets he holds wrt Penny s former life with the burgeoning affection he feels for her His feeling of betrayal goes deep when everything is blown wide open and it seems only Penny holds the key to a new start without any guiltBoth Simon and Penny are great characters full of depth and emotion I was so caught up in their story I truly could not RecitatifTo Room Nineteen put this one down There are great little twists that make this book so engaging With all the mystery surrounding both Simon and Penny I was sure they would need another book to figure everything out But I am happy to say that Molly O Keefe did a tremendous job with tying up most of the loose ends in one volume We do get glimpses of other St Joke s victims and I look forward to their stories next There is a small trail of crumbs at the end that will lead us to future books and I can t want to get my hands on themWhen you are looking for the extraordinary to take you away from the mundane being written almost daily In Service pick up this book Actually Saving Place pick up any in the author s collection Molly O Keefe gives her all each and every time and so much than just your typical romance With Ruin You you are taken on a touching and hopeful journey that deserves a huge 5 stars Nothing less would suffice

read & download ´ E-book, or Kindle E-pub µ Molly OKeefe Ruin You The Debt #3 summary ✓ E-book, or Kindle E-pub Y years of lying and hiding I finally have a place to call home With people I can call a family The Paintbrush Inn is my life now and I won’t let anyone ruin itWhen sexy and world weary Simon checks in to the Inn I never expect him to glance my way I’ve spent my whole life blending into the background Being overlooked and ignored It’s been helpful even though it’s lonely And he’s. 35 starsThis can be read as stand alone No cliffhangers this timeI deeply dislike books that I rate with 3 stars For being 3 stars really Most of the time I m left wondering what I should say Obviously I didn t love it but it s always a neither liked nor disliked sort of situation It s even worse with authors I consider as very talentedMolly O Keefe is a bit of a conundrum I haven t read any of her Historicals which I should do and when I went through the books that I did read I noticed that they re mostly 3 stars although I love her writing My only guess is that it s a mixture of her CR s being both NA and on the dark side of the romance genreAnyway Ruin You is Simon s story Now for those who haven t read the series I ll explain the background In the novella we are introduced to five teenagers all in a home that is a sort of House of Horrors All teenagers have a dark past andor difficult upbringing One night Fate decides to play a little game and it ends with all of them owing a debt to a dubious person called Bates not sure if the pun was intended He sets them free under one condition One day he will call in the debts and they all have to do as told with dire conseuences should they refuse Seeing a way out of their hellish circumstances they agree Bates is the deus ex machina in each of these books although towards the end I had the feeling that this series will end with his story By the way Bates was introduced in Baby Come BackThe first two books Lost Without You and Where I belong covered Beth and Tommy s story In Ruin You Simon is told to repay his debt and it brings him close to his nemesis the reason why he ended up in that home in the first place To be able to destroy the man who had destroyed his family he has to get close to the man s daughter PennyTina get the information he needs from her and give it to Bates That they have an almost instantaneous attraction to each complicates matters But not only that Penny was also one reason why he ended up in that homeIn spite of feeling a little contrived the set up is intriguing and Miss O Keefe knows how to build up tension Ultimately though it almost always falls short I can t put my finger on it Is it too much darkness too much sex not enough exploration of the characters I don t know I really wish I could find the right words but it always prevents me from really loving it At the same time though the author makes sure I ll be reading the next one because I want to know how the story of the five teenagers will endThe one thing that distinguishes Molly O Keefe s books from the gazillion tearjerkers is her unsentimental writing style and the obvious absence of manipulation of the readers Something I thoroughly despise At the same time a certain kind of tenderness is missing and I m not talking about the end of the books when the protagonists finally come together No it s the little things missing that would otherwise connect me with the characters emotionally What feelings the characters have for each other they convey through sex and that s not enough for me After finishing Ruin You I had to think of Hate To Want You where a similar expression of feelings is shown through sex But similar is the key word here similar but not the same Admittedly though it s rather unfair of me to compare any book to this year s favourite book of mine along with A Lady s Code of Misconduct I shouldn t be doing itI do wonder if 30 40 pages would make a difference Knowing how talented a writer Miss O Keefe is I d say yes Something is just missingAnyway I m still glued to this series and despite my neither liked nor disliked statement further above I believe I m complaining on a very high level After all despite all my complaints the characters feel realistic the heroes showing none of that alpha male bullshit outside of bed and the heroines are tough as nails My ratings for Molly O Keefe s books are based on the admittedly very few darker or serious CR s I loved If I were to rate them against other books See what I did there I wrote a long arsed review for a 3 star rating Oh wellEdit I forgot to add a uote that shows why I think this author is so very talented Humans have grown unable to believe two opposing things are true at the same time We want things to be black and white Right and wrong It s comforting It allows us to keep our moral superiority Our righteous outrage
