Feigh ì 7 review characters Little Bit Big Byte A Day at the Beach ☆ eBook, PDF or Kindle ePUB Let me introduce you to Little Bit Big Byte These two chips off the old block are the main characters in a NEW educational entertaining and endearing series of Childre. A great introduction to cyberspace for young children with fun characters exciting pictures and an innovative approach to learning about the world wide web The tale follows brothers Little Bit and Big Byte as they go for a day trip to the beach with their pets Click and Browser They meet their friends and soon begin having fun Unfortunately they don t take notice of the important signs warning them of danger and soon become at risk of being harmed The children enjoyed this book a lot with 70% of them rating it 5 stars They found the bone finding aspect fun and loved searching through each page trying to find them To ensure online safety at our school the children are told that if they see something they don t like they should turn the monitor off if using a desktop computer and tell a grown up straight away This approach has been effective for many years and the children are familiar with it and are happy to do so They are also made aware that if an advert pops up telling them they should click here and win prizes they shouldn t because it is most often an opportunity to cause harm to the computer All children from the age of 4 are taught this and they react well to this approach so this book was great for sparking informative and meaningful conversations about internet safety and the importance of being careful online Although it s a child friendly book there were occasions when words needed to be clarified for the children to understand which suggests that although it fuelled great conversations to allow further understanding it would prove to be difficult for some children when reading alone RA aged 7 I liked when Click was bouncing because it was uite funny for me Even if the internet can be very fun it can still be very dangerous TD aged 7 I liked when Browser was playing tricks AM aged 7 I liked the part where Big Byte Little Bit and Joy went to the beach because I thought it was good when they were on the surfboard I didn t like when they were bouncing on the bed because I didn t think it needed to be in the story MM aged 6 I like when Little Bit and Big Byte jump on the bed because it s really funny AnM aged 7 I would say that I liked when they went to the beach because it s relaxing at the beach and I like the sea I didn t like when the sharks went near Big Byte because they would eat him I learnt that some things aren t suitable for small children so we should never click things that we don t know about My favourite characters were Browser and Big Byte because Browser was sensible and I liked Big Byte because he was in the waves but he would accidentally click something if he was on the internet which is bad EJ aged 6 I liked it when Click was jumping on Big Byte because it was funny YW aged 7 I learnt that when something is dangerous just don t click it because it is not safe

Craig T. Feigh ì 7 review characters Little Bit Big Byte A Day at the Beach ☆ eBook, PDF or Kindle ePUB Of the Romie family as they experience life's valuable lessons with their friends and foes If your children love to use the computer they will love Little Bit Big Byt. Very cute story that utilized computing terminology for names of the characters and situations The graphics are crisp and paper very nice I read it to a younger grandson attached to this account but the elements of idioms are still a bit above the comprehension of lower grades students and some middle school students unless they are highly familiar with computer terms The idioms would be interesting for those who are familiar with computer terms but then the short simplistic story would not hold the interest of older and would therefore not be considered reading material for their reuired level reading lists I would encourage the author to perhaps instead target possibly middle school age with a graphic novel or chapter book with longer complicated story line concentrating on two to three characters introduced at a time with subject matters including Bullying hygiene diet body image making friends avoiding danger etc RamBully Click falling for click bait something that isn t what it seems Kay Board struggles with body image etc Trojan how to protect oneself from gun violence If targeting younger grades keeping with sight word lists and shorter passages is paramount and also insuring the student can read or it be read to them within the 20min read national program
